today I will be adding clay and sculpting it as necessary onto my face cast, so tomorrow i can start moulding materials onto the finished cast to make the foundation of my mask. ill be using a material called Warbla which is moulded with a heat gun. after I have the basis of the mask I can start layering other materials to build it up more, eg the nose I can bring out more and extend, add an ear, make the teeth, add the fur and paint the skull side. the clay work it the new face, meaning that the wearer will have it as I sculpt it, any alterations will be made after its mouldee to make it comfortable and wearable. as the nose comes off the face a bit, I kept it only a smidging longer than the original cast nose, so it doesnt float off the face and feel too loose.
